Senior Associate

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Prepare new Investment Memorandums seeking the approval of the Investment Committee, for Co-Investments in direct equity deals and new Private Equity Funds commitments.

Supervise, revise, and question third party due diligence reports and investment dossiers prepared by private equity sponsors.

Supervise due diligence processes, including investigation, revision and analysis of financial statements, and market research of target companies.

Perform additional due diligence and research on direct deals, such as searching for information sources (market, competitors, valuations, transactions, etc.), gather information from industry experts, research from existing customers and potential competitors to the target company, among other tasks.

Conduct due diligence to evaluate private equity funds, including interviews with the team members, in-depth analysis of their track record of investments, their investment strategies, execution capabilities and value added potential, and analysis of the portfolio companies evolution and valuation.

Participate in investment opportunity execution, including working for an International Private Equity fund.

Perform analysis of financial statements. Understand, revise, supervise and perform financial modeling and company valuations using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Prepare and attend meetings and conference calls with CEOs, CFO and private equity sponsors.

Develop detailed synthesis at meetings with PE sponsors and direct deal management teams

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration and 2 years of experience in private equity funds, private equity deals, investment funds, and/or banking.

2 years of experience using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Experience therein to include 1 year of experience performing financial modeling. 1 year of experience performing company valuations and preparing Investment Memorandums.

Experience therein to include 6 months working for an International Private Equity fund.

6 months of experience supervising due diligence processes, including investigation, revision and analysis of financial statements, and market research of target companies.
